Dr. Ayyaz Sultan, is renowned for his extensive experience in diagnosing and treating all aspects of adult heart disease. He provides expert assessment, investigation, and treatment for a comprehensive range of cardiac symptoms, including chest pain, palpitations, dizziness and fainting, breathlessness, and heart murmurs. Dr. Sultan is proficient in managing common cardiac conditions such as angina, heart failure, heart attack, and hypertension.

With a robust set of skills, Dr. Sultan excels in cardiovascular assessment, pre-procedural evaluations for appropriateness and risk, therapeutic decision-making, and performing both coronary and non-coronary interventions. His extensive interventional expertise spans all lesion subsets. Over his career, Dr. Sultan has conducted more than 3000 diagnostic coronary angiograms and over 1400 percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), which include balloon and stent treatments for arterial plaque.

Dr. Sultan holds the position of Honorary Senior Lecturer at The Faculty of Biology, Medicine, and Health at The University of Manchester.
